Lucy Torres tells daughter Juliana on her birthday: 'You are my bundle of joy, my true treasure'
Lucy Torres-Gomez got nostalgic as her daughter, Juliana, turned 24.
The actress and Ormoc City Mayor posted a childhood photo of her unica hija playing inside a cabinet on Instagram.
“I may have thousands of photos of you but for now I choose this — a classic from when you were tiny, and during one of those happy days you randomly made me laugh just by being you,” Lucy said.
Lucy said that Juliana’s second name is Beatrice, which means bearer of happiness and blessings, because “I took one look at you and knew in my mother’s heart that you would be all that, plus more.”
Lucy then wrote about how grateful she is for Juliana’s personality.
“Thank you for making me laugh even on the hardest and saddest of times, for wisdom beyond your young years, for making me feel young when life makes me feel old (with your music, your wonderful friends, your stories, your funny thoughts), for the way you naturally make things more beautiful,” she said.
“Happy birthday, my little love. Of all the things you are I am most proud of the fact that you have sunshine in your heart. Stay that way. And know that always, you are my bundle of joy, my true treasure,” she added.
Juliana said in the comments, “I love you always Mama!!!”
Juliana is Lucy and Richard Gomez’s only child. In his own birthday post, Richard told Juliana, “You have a beautiful, gentle heart, and I thank you for all the joy you bring.”
In July, Juliana graduated cum laude with a degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Juliana is also a successful fencing athlete, with Richard always flexing how proud he is. In March, she won a gold medal at the UAAP.
She previously won fencing competitions in Thailand and Indonesia.
