Samantha Lo, GF Jannica Rubin graduate from university

Samantha Lo took to Instagram to flex that she and her girlfriend Jannica Rubin are now university graduates.

The couple graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from National University. The ceremony was held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

As seen in the Instagram photos, Samantha and Jannica’s loved ones were present. They also shared a sweet kiss at the graduation.

To celebrate, Samantha got a silver Tudor watch.

“I GRADUATED!!!!!” the former beauty queen wrote in her caption.

Jannica said in her own post that graduating together was part of God’s plan.

“Our professor often asked if graduating together was our goal. While it wasn’t, God had a different plan. I’m so grateful to have conquered nursing school alongside you,” she wrote.

“It’s a unique accomplishment knowing we’ve made it through the challenges of balancing school and work. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way,” she added.

Samantha commented, “We did it toooooots.”

Samantha is best known for representing the Philippines in the Miss Grand International 2019 pageant. Her journey to the crown ended early.

In 2020, she was named the female grand winner of the Century Tuna Superbod 2020.

Samantha proudly introduced Jannica and revealed their relationship to the world in 2023.

Samantha and Jannica join the list of showbiz personalities who returned to school to earn their degrees despite being older. More artists include Geneva Cruz, Dingdong Dantes, Ruffa Gutierrez, Juancho Trivino, Bogart the Explorer, Ejay Falcon, and many more.
