Karylle remembers late dad Modesto Tatlonghari on his 40th day of passing

Karylle honored her late dad Modesto Tatlonghari on the 40th day of his passing.

In an Instagram post on September 7, the “It’s Showtime” host shared a clip compiling some of her dad’s precious moments.

“Awww dad. Praying for you on your 40th day. Love you always. y gracias. Thank you for all your kind words and prayers,” Karylle wrote.

To commemorate her dad’s 40th day, the family held a memorial mass on Saturday. They also had an activity the day after at the White Cross Children’s Home in San Juan.

Heartfelt prayers and sympathies from fellow celebrities such as Iza Calzado and Vina Morales peppered Karylle’s post.

“We love you Papa M!  Hugs, Cuziska,” Iza wrote.

“Hugs sis. Prayers for doc,” Vina said.

Karylle announced the passing of her dad in August through a heartfelt tribute post on Instagram.

Karylle is best known for being a host on “It’s Showtime.” She is the original Sang’gre Alena in “Encantadia.”
