Has Fumiya Sankai already said ‘I love you’ to Kate Valdez? Sparkle star answers

Kate Valdez still hasn't confirmed if Fumiya Sankai is officially her boyfriend, but the actress said they’re both happy and the feeling is mutual.

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle star rated their current relationship status an 8 out of 10.

“The feelings are mutual, and we were just both happy that we exist in this world,” Kate said.

She also described Fumiya as a “blessing” and “a beautiful soul,” adding that he is just really kind and has a pure heart.

When asked if Fumiya had already said “I love you” to her, Kate confirmed with a short but sweet “Opo.”

During the “Fast Talk” segment, she completed the sentence “Deserve ni Fumiya…” with her answer, “Ako.”

Kate also said she views relationships as an inspiration.

“Iba pa rin po ‘yung may nagsusuporta sa ‘yo, aside from family. Iba ‘yung feeling ng inspired eh,” she said.

Kate and Fumiya went on a Hong Kong Disneyland trip last month in celebration of the actress’ birthday.

When asked in a “24 Oras” report if they're dating each other, Kate told Lhar Santiago "sobrang happy kami sa isa't isa, sa presence ng isa't isa."

On her TikTok account last week, Kate dedicated a video for Fumiya, showing love for her “Japanese side.”

Kate is set to star in the Philippine remake of the hit K-drama "Shining Inheritance" alongside Kyline Alcantara, Michael Sager, Paul Salas, and Coney Reyes.

It will begin airing on September 9 at 4 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
