R’Bonney Gabriel calls dad’s childhood home in Malate her ‘favorite place’ in Manila
For R’Bonney Gabriel, her father’s home in Malate is her favorite place in Manila.
On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2022 shared some snaps of her visiting her dad Bonz’s childhood home in Barangay 743 in Malate, Manila.
Among the photos she shared was a snap of her with their kid neighbors, and one with her mom and dad playing with their family dog.
“Favorite place in Manila,” R’Bonney wrote.
This isn’t the first time R’Bonney visited her father’s home in Manila. Back in June, she spent a weekend at their family home and ate some Filipino food like kare-kare and buttered shrimp.
She also gave a quick house tour and got herself a taho.
R'Bonney, the first Filipino-American Miss Universe, has been exploring her heritage in the Philippines, from trying Pinoy street food and practicing her "tawad" game in Divisoria to riding a jeepney and motorcycle service.
Since April, R’Bonney has been in the Philippines for modeling, hosting, media guestings, and other work engagements.
A sustainable fashion designer, she recently launched her first Philippine collection at the Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2024 in August.
