EJ Obiena on GF Caroline Joyeux: ‘She makes me want to be a better person’

EJ Obiena is all praises about his girlfriend, German athlete Caroline Joyeux, and their relationship.

In Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Asia’s best and World No. 3 pole vaulter said Caroline is arriving in the Philippines on Thursday, but there’s no proposal happening just yet.

“I think we’re still young, and we’re figuring things out,” EJ said.

However, the Filipino athlete said their relationship is “very serious.”

“She’s really amazing,” he said. “She makes me want to be a better person.”

In the “Fast Talk” segment of the afternoon talk show, EJ answered Caroline when asked about the sexiest woman he knows.

EJ and Caroline have been together since 2020. They met at a training camp in Italy.

EJ concluded his 2024 Paris Olympics journey in fourth place, a huge jump from his 11th ranking in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

After the Olympics, Caroline told EJ, “You are a real fighter. I’m so proud of you. We will be back!”
