Pia Wurtzbach, Jeremy Jauncey plan on having a second wedding
Pia Wurtzbach said she and husband Jeremy Jauncey plan on having a second wedding, after tying the knot in a surprise, super private ceremony held in March last year.
The Miss Universe 2015 sat down with Dr. Vicki Belo for a vlog episode, where Pia said her private wedding with Jeremy was “the best way possible” for them. It was what they both wanted.
“We did it na kaming dalawa lang, which was a little non-traditional,” Pia said in the vlog.
“We decided to have a private wedding where we didn’t even have our families, and our witnesses were people from the island,” she added.
According to the beauty queen-turned-fashionista, one of the reasons they opted for a private wedding was to relieve themselves from the stress of worrying about the guests.
“My worst nightmare is to walk down the aisle with cameras and phones on me, and I don’t see any faces, only the back of people’s phones,” Pia said.
“I just wanted to keep it private, to enjoy it, and say my vows without having to worry about everybody hearing it and be honest about it,” she added.
She revealed they are actually planning to do another ceremony, this time with their families and friends present.
“We actually plan to do a second one, and we want to do it in Scotland, in a castle,” she said.
Pia and Jeremy tied the knot at an exclusive island in Seychelles in March 2023 after dating for three years.
The beauty queen wore a strapless figure-hugging gown made of godets, panels, and appliqués. Jeremy, on the other hand, wore a traditional Scottish kilt.
Pia recently renewed her ties with Belo Medical Group as the face of the newly improved treatment ASCE+ Exosomes.
