Ninong Ry’s son Rue gets baptized

Ninong Ry’s son Rue is now baptized.

On Instagram, Nice Print Photo shared some snaps from Rue’s baptismal ceremony on Sunday and welcomed Rue to the Christian world.

Among those who attended Rue’s christening were fellow vlogger Wil Dasovich and Tita Krissy Achino, who couldn't help but poke a joke in an Instagram post.

Posting a photo of Ryan, his brother, and the chinito priest from the baptism, Tita Krissy said "Nalito mga bisita sino ang ama, sino ang ninong, at sino ang pari."

Ninong Ry welcomed his son with his non-showbiz partner Belle in May, marking the beginning of the content creator’s “dad era.”

Ninong Ry, whose real name is Ryan, has captivated Filipino netizens with his down-to-earth, real-talk cooking and food-related videos. On YouTube, he has already amassed more than two million subscribers.

He's become so popular that in June of last year, Michael V. impersonated Ninong Ry with a character he called "Ninong Cry" in an episode of "Bubble Gang."

In a December 2023 interview on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the internet personality believed it was luck that thrusted him to the limelight.

He previously collaborated with Bea Alonzo for a cooking challenge on her vlog, and sometime in 2022, Ninong Ry even went to the San Juan City male dormitory and cooked a delicious meal for the detainees there.

He was also part of the online series "Pinoy Christmas in our Hearts," a collaboration between GMA Public Affairs and YouTube.

Welcome to the Christian world, Rue!
