Cesar Montano, Sunshine Cruz mark daughter Sam's 20th birthday

Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz's daughter Sam just turned 20 years old!

On Instagram, the actor took a trip down memory lane to mark his daughter's special day by posting an old video of Sam, which he called his "favorite music video ever."

In the clip, a young Sam was wearing a pink jacket as she danced and lip synced to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's song "Thrift Shop."

"My favorite musical video ever. Happy birthday to my beautiful talented baby girl Samantha Cruz Montano. I love you sweetheart," Cesar wrote.

In response, Sam could not help but laugh and expressed her love to her father in the comments section.

Meanwhile, her mom Sunshine posted a series of lovely photos of them from Sam's birthday party accompanied by a short but sweet birthday message. In the snaps, Sam wore a baby blue dress, while her mom was in a floral patterned pastel dress.

"Tonight is about our birthday girl. Happy 20th Sam! We love you!" Sunshine wrote.

Aside from Sam, Sunshine and Cesar, who separated in 2013, have two other kids together: Angelina and Chesca.

Previously, Sunshine expressed her gratitude for the kind words and support they have received for their modern family.

She also said that "love and forgiveness prevailed in our little family" in a year-end post.
