Bea Alonzo on love: 'I still believe there is someone out there for me'

Despite past relationships that didn't work out in her favor, Bea Alonzo still believes in love.

In the latest episode of "My Mother, My Story," Bea said she "never lost hope in love."

"I've always been a hopeless romantic, and I still believe there is someone out there for me," she said.

According to Bea, she wants to date someone not from showbiz, and privately this time.

“Ayaw ko na ng public na relationship ever again,” she said. “Pasong paso na ako.”

"I really learned my lesson the hard way," she added.

Aside from being non-showbiz, Bea said she wants to date someone "man enough to handle me."

"Someone who will love me unconditionally and someone who will never give up on me," she said.

In the same episode, Bea revealed that her mother, Mary Anne Ranollo, was "very much affected" during her breakup with Dominic Roque.

Bea got engaged to Dominic in July 2023, and initially planned to get married this year.

In February, Tito Boy confirmed their split on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," before the former couple released a statement confirming they had called off their wedding.

Bea currently stars in the Kapuso murder-mystery series "Widows' War," which airs weeknights at 8:50 p.m. after "Pulang Araw."
