Michele Gumabao and Aldo Panlilio are engaged!
Michele Gumabao is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Aldo Panlilio!
On Instagram, the Creamline volleyball player and beauty queen shared snaps of their engagement in Tokyo, Japan.
In one of the photos, Michele can be seen covering Aldo's eyes as she showed off her diamond ring. The couple's wedding proposal and engagement shoot was captured by Nice Print Photo.
"8 to [infinity] with you," wrote Michele.
Aldo also posted sweet photos of their engagement on his own account as he marked their eighth anniversary.
"8/8 celebrating our 8th year and it's [inifinity] with you, [Michele Gumabao," said Aldo.
Michelle's batchmates at the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant sent in their congratulations, including Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Binibining Pilipinas 2018 2nd runner-up Samantha Bernardo, and Binibining Pilipinas 2018 1st runner-up Vickie Rushton.
"Congrats love!!!" wrote Catriona.
"FINALLY!!! CONGRATS GUYS!!!" said Samantha.
"Awww! Congratulations Michyyy!!!" wrote Vickie.
Michele competed at Binibining Pilipinas 2018 with Aldo by her side as her biggest supporter. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 and later represented the Philippines in the international Miss Globe, where she finished in the Top 15.
She also joined Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and placed 2nd runner-up. After the competition, she said that this would be her last beauty pageant.
Michele's fiancé, Aldo, is a strength and conditioning coach for the Philippine Basketball Association.
