Elvis Gutierrez narrates beginning of love story with his late wife Alexa in touching eulogy

Following her passing, Alexa Uichico Gutierrez was remembered by her family members through their heartfelt eulogies for her.

On TikTok, Ruffa Gutierrez shared Elvis’ touching tribute for his wife, where he shared the beginning of their love story.

According to Elvis, they first met at a friend’s party.

“The whole night, I just annoyed her kasi ang sarap niyang asarin eh,” Elvis said, adding that Alexa was in another relationship back then, so she kept on ignoring him.

Later in the party, there was a brief electricity interruption.

“After five seconds, nung bumukas na ‘yung ilaw, nakayakap na ako sa kaniya,” Elvis said, which made the audience laugh.

A few months later, Elvis and Alexa met again on a beach trip and got to know each other more. Alexa even gave him a nickname: “crispy pata.” So Elvis called her his “chicharon bulaklak.”

Since then, they became inseparable until Alexa had to leave for Houston and they went LDR.

After four years of being far away from each other, the two experienced a rough patch, they almost broke up.

So Elvis decided to quit his acting job to follow Alexa in Houston.

“I stayed there for a year. I won her heart back eventually,” Elvis said.

The two wed in 2015 after being a couple for years. They have two young daughters.

In January, Annabelle Rama, turned emotional as she shared the sad news about Alexa's health.

Alexa fought leukemia for six months before passing away on the evening of July 27.

According to the Mayo Clinic, "leukemia is cancer of the body's blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and the lymphatic system."

It mostly involves the white blood cells, with people with leukemia producing excessive amounts of it.

Alexa was 38.
