Chito Miranda brings family with him to Parokya Ni Edgar tour: 'Para iwas homesick'

Chito Miranda couldn’t resist from bringing his entire family with him to Parokya Ni Edgar tour in New Zealand and Australia to avoid feeling homesick.

On Instagram, the Parokya Ni Edgar vocalist shared a family photo, including his wife Neri Naig and their kids Miggy, Cash, and Pia.

“More than thtree weeks din aabutin ‘yung tour so sinama ko ulit buong pamilya ko para iwas homesick,” Chito wrote.

“Nase-stress kasi talaga ako pag matagal akong nawawala eh,” he added.

Chito also shared how his wife and bandmates understand his longing for home. They know that he always wants to run back home whenever he finishes work to be with his family.

“Sa totoo, oks lang naman sa pamilya ko kung matagal akong mawala eh,” he said. “I'm sure mami-miss nila ako, pero they'd be fine.”

“Ako lang talaga yung problema...di ko talaga kaya,” he added.

Chito said performing with his band has always been fun and fulfilling during their tour, but he couldn’t help but feel sad during his rest days.

“Sa totoo, kung alam nyo lang, I really need them to be with me para maka-function ako ng maayos,” he said. "Ganito yata talaga pag tatay ka na eh."

Chito and Neri have been married since 2014.

Chito was one of the coaches of "The Voice Generations," along with Julie Anne San Jose, Billy Crawford, and Stell of SB19.
