Heart Evangelista 'proud' of Chiz Escudero after SONA 2024
Heart Evangelista penned a short but sweet message for her husband, Senate President Chiz Escudero, after President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday.
The Sparkle actress and Global Fashion Icon posted Instagram photos from when they walked the red carpet at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City.
In her caption, Heart told Chiz, “In everything you do … I shall be there right beside you.”
“Proud of you our Senate President,” she added.
Heart made quite the entrance on Monday’s SONA. She wore a backless modern Filipiniana by Michael Leyva. Heart and Chiz walked the red carpet with his twins Chesi and Quino as well as Heart's sister, Cam Ongpauco.
The Escuderos were also the first to arrive at the Third Regular Session of the 19th Congress on Monday morning.
Heart serves as the new president of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SPFI). She started working with the organization in May and took her oath in June.
Prior to this, Heart and Chiz appeared at the GMA Gala in Pasay City on Saturday.
