Jillian Ward reveals her mom got pregnant with her at 19, had second thoughts about keeping her

Jillian Ward revealed that her mom Jennifer got pregnant with her at the age of 19 and had second thoughts about keeping her due to her youth.

In the latest episode of "My Mother, My Story" on Sunday, the Sparkle star opened up about her relationship with her mom, knowing that she had doubts about her pushing through her pregnancy at the time.

"Siyempre mas grateful ako na buhay ngayon," Jillian shared.

"Kaya gusto ko rin pong i-prove kay mama na hindi naging mali ang desisyon niya. Well of course, younger pa siya 'non. Takot siya. Pero gusto kong i-prove sa kaniya na dati 'yon, 'yon 'yung past," she added.

Jillian also said that she never got angry or disappointed at her mom for her reconsideration of her pregnancy as she understood where she was coming from.

"Super bata niya 'non, so siyempre may fear," she said.

Now, Jillian said she is determined to make her mom proud of her and show to her that she made the right choice of raising her.

"Gusto kong ipakita sa kaniya na you made the right choice, and there's nothing to fear anymore kasi nandito na kami," she said.

Jillian has always been close with her mom, with the young actress making sure to greet the woman of her life on every occasion.

In 2022, Jillian thanked her mom and dad for giving her a BMW M-Sport Car.

"Thank you Mama and Papa for my new taping car!" she wrote.

Jillian stars as Dr. Analyn Santos in top-rating GMA Afternoon Prime series "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap."

She recently attended the GMA Gala 2024 where she bagged the Sparkling Smile of the Night award.
