Kylie Padilla on relationship with stepmom Mariel Rodriguez: 'I love her'

Kylie Padilla has nothing but love for her stepmother, Mariel Rodriguez.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Tito Boy asked the Sparkle actress about her relationship with the wife of her dad, Senator Robin Padilla.

"Tita Mariel? I love her," she said. "We're very good. Kasi in our family I think she's really the one who makes an effort to get everyone together."

Kylie said while that could be taken lightly, she does not because of her own awareness of mortality.

"I'm scared of dying. So I know every moment is sacred and the fact that she makes that happen? Nakakasama ko 'yung tatay ko, mga tito ko, lola ko, so I cherish every moment," she said.

Kylie is one of Robin's four children with his former wife, Liezl Sicangco.

Meanwhile, Robin and Mariel got married in 2010. They have two daughters, Isabella and Gabriela.

Earlier this year, Kylie joined Robin and Mariel in Singapore when they watched Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" concert. 

The actress recently joined the cast of "Asawa ng Asawa Ko" as Hannah, the first wife of Leon, played by Joem Bascon.

She also began taping for "Encantadia" spinoff "Sang'gre," which stars Bianca Umali, Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda, and Faith Da Silva.
