Kylie Padilla confirms relationship with non-showbiz boyfriend

Kylie Padilla confirmed that she is now in a relationship.

The Sparkle star revealed this on Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," also confirming that he was the guy from her "through his lens" post on social media.

Kylie did not name her boyfriend but said that he is not from showbiz.

"The best thing I love about it is may balance na ako ngayon from my work life to my personal life. In my work life, artista ako. It's a different world, very different world," she said about their relationship.

"And when I'm with my partner, I'm normal again, I'm just Kylie. I'm the Kylie that grew up in Australia, I'm the Kylie na nanay lang ako, and, you know, I do normal nanay things," she added.

Kylie said that she loves that her two worlds now have a boundary.

"There's no trying to keep up a certain image with a partner," she said.

Kylie also admitted that she had to fight for the relationship she has now.

"Ba't lahat nalang? Ba't pinapahirapan ako?" she said, laughing. "I think of everything in life, may ituturo siya sa 'yo. There's a way for you to grow in everything na nangyayari sa 'yo and you just keep going until you die, right? So meron din akong lesson dito sa relationship ko ngayon, and it taught me to just trust myself more talaga and not be too scared to be myself."

"Na-reveal sa 'kin 'yung mga ugali ko and 'yung mga ayokong tanggapin kasi, you know, everyone has ego. And in some way, mas hinarap ko siya ngayon this time 'yung mga imperfections ko kasi nagko-connect siya sa pagiging nanay ko, me as a person. And this relationship really—tinuruan ako din," she said.

Earlier this year, Kylie also talked about a mystery man she was spotted with.

"'Yung nagpapasaya sa puso ko. 'Yun 'yon," she said.

Kylie's previous relationship was with her ex-husband, Aljur Abrenica. They parted ways in 2021, and Aljur later admitted that he cheated on Kylie.

Following the separation, Kylie and their sons, Alas and Axl, moved into their new home.

In September last year, Kylie shared that she doesn't hold them back from seeing their dad and that she doesn't want to put Aljur in a negative light.
