SB19's 'Pagtatag!' documentary film drops screening date
SB19's much-awaited "Pagtatag!" documentary film is set to make its theatrical debut on August 28.
In an Instagram post, the P-pop group shared a clip from the documentary, which shows the group hurdling before the start of their "Pagtatag!" Finale World Tour.
In the clip, group leader Pablo can be heard saying "This is the final show! Walang lalaylay! Sama-sama tayo dito!"
"Tagged as P-POP Kings, SB19 confronts a year of challenges as they move forward to a new era of music, career, and emancipation. This is SB19's PAGTATAG! Era," the caption read.
In May, SB19 announced the documentary film by posting a video teaser reflecting on their lives as performers and musicians.
The documentary is helmed by Jed Regala and produced by 1Z Entertainment and First Light Studios.
Composed of Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh, SB19 debuted in 2018 and is known for their songs "GENTO," "Mapa," "Bazinga," and more.
SB19 ended their "Pagtatag!" era with back-to-back concerts at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in May.
The group performed last week at the Binibining Pilipinas 2024 coronation night as the pageant marked its 60th anniversary. Recently, they also made history as the first Filipino act to grace the Japanese YouTube channel "First Take."
SB19's latest singles, "Moonlight" and "Ready," were collaborations with international artists Ian Asher, Terry Zhong, and Apl.de.ap.
