Dingdong Dantes to Marian Rivera following viral moment: 'Isang masigabong palakpak para sa iyo, Misis ko'

Dingdong Dantes was the proudest husband after Marian Rivera joined the panel of judges for a beauty and fitness competition.

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime King posted a stunning photo of Marian, complete with a full Tagalog caption.

"Hindi lang ang iyong panlabas na kagandahan ang nagningning kagabi, kundi pati na rin ang natural mong talento sa pagpapasaya at pagpukaw sa puso ng mga Pilipino," Dingdong said.

"Isang masigabong palakpak para sa iyo, Misis ko," he continued. "P.S. 'Di kailangang i-translate sa Ingles, gets niyo na 'to."

Touched, Marian replied in the comments section.

"Love you mahal ko. Sa susunod ikaw na tatawagan ko para mag translate!" she said, adding a squinting face with tongue emoji.

Marian served as a judge at the Century Tuna Superbods 2024 held in Pasay City on Tuesday night.

The Kapuso Primetime Queen trended online after she gamely translated a question for a candidate from Tagalog to English.

Marian and Dingdong recently starred in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 entry, "Rewind." The blockbuster hit is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time and is available on Netflix.

The couple was among the stars recognized at the 72nd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards.

Marian has an upcoming movie, "Balota," which follows a land-grabbing tycoon and a former male sexy actor who are locked in a tight race for the mayoral seat of a small town.

Marian will play the role of Emmy, a teacher who serves in the election. Emmy runs into the wilderness with a ballot box, the last copy of the election results, when violence in their town erupts.

It is directed by award-winning filmmaker Kip Oebanda and will screen at the Cinemalaya Film Festival from August 2 to 11.
