Xian Lim, Iris Lee walk 'Kuman Thong' red carpet premiere together

"Kuman Thong," the film written and directed by Xian Lim, is set to roll out in cinemas on Wednesday.

According to a "Balitanghali" report, the movie just had its red carpet premiere. Xian attended the event with producer and his girlfriend, Iris Lee.

Xian is also hoping that the public will support his latest project.

"Kuman Thong" stars Cindy Miranda, Althea Ruedas, Max Nattapol, Jariya Therakaosal, and Emman Esquivel.

Its trailer released last month introduced a mother of two who loses a son in a tragedy. To help bring her son back from the dead, the mother enlists the help of a Kuman Thong statue.

In Thai folk religion, a Kuman Thong, or Black Magic Baby, is believed to bring luck to its owner.

But instead of bringing her child back, things take a scary turn.

"Kuman Thong" was shot entirely in Thailand.

This is not Xian's first time directing a project. In 2022, he directed an episode of GMA Network's "Wish Ko Lang." He also directed the music video for Glaiza De Castro's song " Tawid Dagat."

Xian also recently starred in the GMA Primetime Series "Love. Die. Repeat" and in the sexy thriller film, "Playtime."
