On Pride Month, Vice Ganda tells Ion Perez: 'I will always retell our story with pain but with high hopes'

Vice Ganda proudly flexed her husband, Ion Perez, on social media to celebrate this year's Pride Month.

On Instagram, Vice Ganda posted clips from her previous shows where she talked about the hardships of being in a gay relationship.

"'Yung sa amin, hindi normal 'yung tingin sa amin," the "It's Showtime" host said.

"'Pag bakla ka, ang hirap magka jowa. 'Pag bakla ka, ang hirap ipaniwala sa mga tao na mahal ka ng jowa mo," she added.

In the reel, Vice also shared her unapologetic sweet moments with Ion during her concert, TV shows, and travels together.

"I will always retell our story with pain but with high hopes, gratitude, joy, and #PRIDE," she said.

"May WE all continue to love and win," she added. "Happy Pride to my LGBTQIA+ community!"

Vice and Ion had a commitment ceremony, a non-legal wedding, at The Little Vegas Chapel in Nevada, USA, in 2021.

In a previous interview on "Updated with Nelson Canlas," Vice said that married life brings her a different kind of joy.

Vice is one of the most prominent faces of the LGBT+ community in the Philippines.

In May, the comedienne hopped on the "Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas" trend, where she shed light on the country's timely issues, including the dispute in the West Philippine Sea, traffic and pollution, and disturbance of tourist sports.
