Claudine Barretto tells daughter Sab: 'You are the reason I chose to live again'
Claudine Barretto penned a moving message for her daughter Sab, who turned 20 on Friday.
On Instagram, the award-winning actress looked back on the time when she became a mother at 24 years old, and how “God sent me an angel in a form of a beautiful child.”
Claudine said that Sab is the reason why she is alive.
“My soul has long been dead till my daughter made me live again. I was once ALIVE again,” Claudine said.
She told her daughter, “You are the reason I chose to live again, Sab.”
Claudine added that she is loved by God because He gave her Sab.
“Happy 20th birthday, anak. You make this world a better place by existing and by being you. [I love you] more than you'll ever know. You truly are an angel here on earth. Mommy loves you,” the actress said.
She also posted photos from Sab’s birthday celebration with their family and two birthday cakes.
Claudine was previously married to Raymart Santiago. They have two kids together, Sabina and Santino.
Claudine’s comeback project “Lovers/Liars” aired its finale on GMA-7 in February. She co-starred with Yasser Marta and Shaira Diaz.
