Ruby Rodriguez's son AJ graduates from high school
Ruby Rodriguez is one proud mom as her son AJ graduates from high school!
The former actress and host shared an Instagram carousel of her son's milestone. She posted photos of AJ marching across the stage and claiming his diploma. Along with his cap and toga, AJ wore a sash bearing the Philippine flag.
“I'm lost for words!!! All I can say IM SO PROUD OF YOU MY SON!!! I know you always achieve to do your best in everything!!! Good luck on your next journey,” Ruby said in her caption.
She also posted a touching video of AJ and her daughter Toni, who both cried and hugged each other after the ceremony.
According to Ruby’s previous post, AJ is set to attend Widney College in Los Angeles, California this year.
Ruby and her family moved to the US in 2021 to support AJ’s medical treatment for a rare autoimmune disease.
The celebrity said her son had “intellectual disability” and a condition called Henoch-Schönlein purpura or HSP. AJ experienced a chronic attack which could cause damage to internal organs, specifically the kidney.
Ruby currently works at the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles. She was given recognition by the Gawad Amerika Foundation in 2021.
In the US, Ruby was able to reunite with her fellow artists like Alden Richards, Michelle Dee, Ice Seguerra, Tom Rodriguez, and Jaya.
