Benedict Cua celebrates first birthday as a dad

Benedict Cua is celebrating his first birthday as a father!

On Instagram, the social media personality shared some snaps from his 32nd birthday celebration.

In the photos, Benedict can be seen holding two cupcakes that have the number candles "3," and "2." He also shared photos of him with his two-month-old son Aleck.

"A lot of firsts this year — I just spent my first birthday as a daddy!" Benedict wrote.

Fellow celebrities such as Kate Valdez and Janeena Chan sent in their birthday greetings in the comment section.

"Happy Birthday Babe," Kate wrote.

"Happy birthday Ben!" Janeena commented.

Benedict recently announced he is now a father. Shortly after, he shared photos of his son, whom he nicknamed Baobao, short for Xiao Long Bao.

He said in a vlog that the past two months have been the best of his life and was spent dedicating himself to his son.

"Sometimes I would look at his hands and see my own hands in them," he said, pausing to control his emotions. "Dun ko na-realize na anak nga talaga kita at tatay na talaga ako."

Aside from being a content creator, Benedict has also dabbled in acting. He last appeared in the Kapuso series "Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday" starring Barbie Forteza and Kate Valdez.
