Heart Evangelista is one supportive stepmom to Chesi: 'Our baby is now a lady'
Heart Evangelista is the most supportive stepmom to Chesi, Chiz Escudero’s daughter with his former wife, during her prom preparations.
On Instagram, the Kapuso Global Fashion Icon shared a reel where she showed her stepdaughter’s preparation for the school dance.
In the video, Heart could be seen being hands-on with Chesi’s hair and makeup, as well as her prom gown, which Michael Leyva designed.
“Our baby is now [a] lady!” Heart said in the caption.
“Chesi surrounded by her friends and loved ones as she officially goes to her first prom,” she added.
It was Chesi's first prom, and she was accompanied by Sparkle artist Bryce Eusebio.
Heart has a close relationship with Chiz’s kids, Chesi and Quino. Previously, Heart marked the first time Chesi commented on her Instagram page.
In May, Heart revealed suffering from her fourth miscarriage, which she described as “one of my biggest heartbreaks.”
In February, Heart and Chiz renewed their vows on Balesin Island in time for their anniversary.
