R'Bonney Gabriel gives a tour of dad's childhood home in Manila

R’Bonney Gabriel is back in her dad’s home street in Manila!

On TikTok, the Miss Universe 2022 shared a video of her visiting her father Bonz’ childhood home in Barangay 743, Malate, Manila.

“I’m going to see my parents today. They’re here in the Philippines so I’m visiting them in Malate right now. This is where my father grew up,” R’Bonney said in the video.

As soon as she arrived, the Filipina-American beauty queen gave a quick house tour showing every corner of the home.

She showed the living area where she said they “would always hang out and have gatherings.”

“I remembered eating breakfast here like pandesal and eggs. It was my favorite,” she shared.

“So many memories in this kitchen and just honestly eating like that’s what we do. Hang out and eat,” she added.

R’Bonney then proceeded to the balcony “where a lot of things would happen,” like hanging out and people-watching in the streets.

Lastly, she gave a glimpse of the top floor and can’t help but feel sentimental after.

“It feels so good to be back. This house will forever hold a special place in my heart,” she ended.

R’Bonney also got a taho because according to her, that is what she would always get as a kid visiting Manila.

This is the second time that R’Bonney visited her father’s childhood home in Manila. In 2023, she went to her dad’s home street in Malate and reunited with her Filipino family.

R'Bonney was among the hosts of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night last week.

She has been exploring her Filipino heritage while in the country, from eating Pinoy street food, practicing her "tawad" game in Divisoria, and riding a jeepney.

R'Bonney is the first Filipino-American Miss Universe. Aside from being a beauty queen, she is also a sustainable fashion designer.
