Charee Pineda mourns stillborn baby girl

Charee Pineda is mourning the loss of her second child, a stillborn baby girl.

On Instagram, the actress and politician said the little one's heart stopped beating at 22 weeks and one day in the womb.

She also wrote an emotional message for her child.

"We may not know why it had to happen but we trust that the Lord has better plans and all we can do is to let go and surrender. I know in my heart we will see you again, my love," Charee said.

"For now, enjoy your time in heaven along with all the angels. We love you so much our baby, Christiana. We can't wait to have you back in our arms in His time."

Charee got married to her long-time partner Martell Soledad in 2020. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in the same year.

Charee is a former councilor of Valenzuela City, serving three consecutive terms from 2013 to 2022. She is also a former Sangguniang Kabataan chairwoman.

She previously appeared in several Kapuso shows, including "Bubble Gang," "Impostora," "The Rich Man's Daughter," and "Mulawin vs. Ravena."
