Benedict Cua is now a dad!
Benedict Cua is now a father to a cute baby boy!
On Instagram, Monday, the content creator shared photos of his son named Aleck, who is two months old.
In some of the photos and also a video, the proud father was seen carrying his bundle of joy in his arms.
"Aleck, my son. The love of my life. No words can explain this overwhelming love that I feel as I cradle you in my arms. My beautiful warrior, you fill me with awe and excitement," he said.
"I promise to be your home and your protection. To nurture you with infinite love, the same love you’ve already shown me from the moment you took your very first breath."
Benedict also posted a vlog update, where he said that Aleck's nickname is Xiao Long Bao or Pao-pao. He explained that xiao means small, long means dragon, and bao is from bao pen, which means treasure.
He said that the past two months have been the best of his life, dedicating himself to immortalizing all of his son's moments. He said he has already kept his cord and his first nail trimmings.
"Sometimes I would look at his hands and see my own hands in them," he said, pausing to control his emotions. "Dun ko na-realize na anak nga talaga kita at tatay na talaga ako."
To his little boy, he promised to be actively present every moment of his life and provide not only his physical but also his emotional needs.
"I may not have answers all the time but I promise to seek guidance and be the best father that I can be," he said.
"I love you more than watermelons," he added. "Don't grow up too fast."
