Jestoni Alarcon helps daughter Angela find her match in 'EXpecially For You'

Jestoni Alarcon and Angela Alarcon are the latest stars to grace the “EXpecially For You” segment on “It’s Showtime.”

In Saturday's episode, Jestoni helped his daughter find her match among three searchees, who proved why they were worthy of going on a date with the Sparkle star.

Angela, who is Jestoni’s second child, said that her dad is stricter than her mom, citing his constant text messages as an example of his fatherly supervision.

They chose among Lorenzo, a 28-year-old aspiring film director; Geron, a 27-year-old lawyer from Pasig; and Elyson, a 25-year-old basketball player.

After the boys answered some questions, Angela chose Geron.

In his message for Angela, Jestoni said, “Lagi mong tandaan, kung nagiging makulit man kami sa ‘yo, eh ‘yun ay para naman sa kabutihan mo,” adding that he and his wife love Angela so much.

Angela turned emotional and said, “Dad, maraming salamat sa walang pagsuporta mo sa akin sa lahat ng bagay ever since bata pa ako, you’re there, you’re always present sa mga family days ko, sa mga competitions ko, sa career ko sa showbiz nandyan ka.”

“Pasensya na minsan kung laging may mga pasaway moments ako, pero gusto ko lang i-assure sa ‘yo na love na love ko kayo ni mommy,” she added.

Jestoni also congratulated Geron and wished him good luck in life.

“Kung ano man ang kahihinatnan niyong dalawa, maging mag-friends or kayo talaga, eh nasa inyo na ‘yan,” he said.

Earlier this month, Geneva Cruz and KC Montero also appeared on the same segment. KC accompanied his ex-wife and helped her choose a date.

During the show’s GMA Network debut, Michelle Dee and her mom, Melanie Marquez, also participated in the segment. The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 matched with Oliver Moeller. —Carby Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
