Lexi Gonzales on relationship with Gil Cuerva: 'We're just taking it easy'

Lexi Gonzales and Gil Cuerva have been dating for three years now. How does the Kapuso couple maintain their relationship in this time of breakups?

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Sparkle actress said they are not rushing into things.

"I think we're just taking it easy," she said. "Whatever comes to us each day, we just take it together. pero binibigyan din namin ng chance ang isa't isa to grow on our own."

When it comes to their relationship, Lexi said that she was never the "territorial" type and still allows Gil to explore on his own as long as he knows how to handle himself.

"I let him go out with his friends whenever he pleases," she said, but "'wag naman siyang super wasted uuwi, mga ganon."

The 24-year-old also said that she is fine with any female actress who will be paired with her boyfriend.

In a previous interview, Lexi said that Gil was her first serious boyfriend. 

The two met after Lexi guested on "Taste Buddies," a show that Gil hosted. Lexi made the first move on Gil.

Lexi previously said that Gil is her "2022 plot twist." The actress and host locked her love for Gil at South Korea's famed N Seoul Tower.

She currently stars in "Running Man Philippines" Season 2, which airs Saturdays and Sundays at 7:15 p.m.
