Dianne Medina sets up pool in their sala for son Joaquin, receives mixed reactions from netizens

Dianne Medina has no problem getting her carpet wet just so her son, Joaquin, can cool off in his inflatable kiddie pool.

On TikTok, the celebrity mom shared a video of the little boy playing and splashing water inside the pool propped in their living room.

"Joaquin wants to swim outside but it's so hot and told me he wanted to swim inside. So ayan nag set-up kami ni Daddy RJ ng mini pool niya," she wrote in the caption.

Dianne said that she was hesitant at first because her carpet will get dirty and soaked.

"Pero naisip ko minsan lang bata si Joaquin gusto ko ma-enjoy niya and ang sala puwede naman patuyuin at linisin ang mga gamit hahaha!"

She also recalled the time when Joaquin drew a car on their sofa using a marker.

"Hindi na ko nagalit kasi mapapalitan naman 'yun haha! Kung saan ka masaya anak! Mahal na mahal kita," she said.

Dianne, however, received mixed reactions from netizens, mostly disagreeing with what she did.

"Indoor but near the sofa at nasa carpet kawawa 'yung maid na mag-aayos ulit sa mga nabasa," one user said.

"OMG patay si yaya niyan pag bigat ng carpet. I love you anak bahala na si yaya mamaya," another user commented.

Others defended Dianne, sharing some solutions they could do to wash the carpet.

"Don't worry mga mima may carpet dryer 'yan, no need na labhan," a user said.

Another commenter said, "Mga lalaki naman siguro ang mag tatanggal niyan. Saka may mga laundry service po. 'Di nila mamano mano lalabhan."

Following this, Dianne shared on Instagram that Joaquin eventually got to enjoy their pool outside with his dad, Rodjun Cruz.

"Nung wala nang araw at hindi na masyado mainit. Nag-swimming na si Joaquin with Daddy outside!" she said.

For those who were concerned about her carpet, she said, "Due na rin 'yan for cleaning so it's OK. Hindi masamang pagbigyan ng isang beses ang mga anak natin basta we know our limits and boundaries!"

"Marami kasi diyan they judge basing on one posted video!" she added.

Dianne and Rodjun got married in 2019. They welcomed Joaquin in 2020.

Last March, the couple announced that they are expecting their second baby. The following month, they revealed that they are having a baby girl.
