Xian Lim confirms he is dating film producer Iris Lee in magazine interview

Xian Lim has confirmed that he is currently dating film producer Iris Lee.

The Kapuso actor revealed this in his special feature in Esquire magazine.

"Yes, I'm seeing Iris," he said, adding that they are very happy. He called Iris a talented filmmaker and his creative partner.

He also denied the rumors that he is now married.

"Another rumor: when I see my friends—the people who are the last to even care about these things—kino-congratulate na ko. They say, 'Congratulations on the marriage in New York!' And I'm like, no, I am not married," he said.

The same goes with claims that he has been living with someone for years already.

"The only people I live with is my mom, my lola, my lolo. These are the things na, parang, it's just so absurd and it's just…why?!" he continued.

"Things happen in life that we're not going to be able to control. And as much as we don't want it to happen, life happens. And it just pains me na parang may mga taong nadamay. That just really saddens me and that's very unfortunate."

He said that both he and Iris are very busy.

"She doesn't deserve all that flak. We don't deserve that because all the things na people are saying, there's no truth to any of it," he said.

Xian also said that they started dating after his relationship with Kim Chiu ended, clarifying that there was no third party involved in his breakup with the "It's Showtime" host.

Xian and Kim confirmed their split in December of last year.

The former couple did not reveal the reason for ending their 12-year relationship.

Rumors of their breakup started circulating in November, prompting Xian to issue a statement.

Last February, Xian was spotted attending a riding school with Iris and other friends.
