Does Derrick Monasterio get jealous over Elle Villanueva and Kristoffer Martin's shippers?

Viewers of "Makiling" were given a surprising twist after an unexpected story between Elle Villanueva and Kristoffer Martin's characters, Amira and Seb, unfolded.

On Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Sparkle stars said that their roles were even given a ship name, SebMira.

When asked if her boyfriend, Derrick Monasterio, ever felt jealous over the pairing, Elle said, "Hindi naman po."

"Sabi ko, 'Oh my gosh, ang daming fans ng SebMira.' Ta's sabi niya, 'Patingin, patingin,'" she continued.

The actress said that Derrick was rather proud of her and Kristoffer.

"Nakakatawa kasi sa mga ibang partners 'di ba would feel insecure, especially na sa same industry lang kami and same love team pa. But not Derrick. So nakakatuwa," she said.

In February last year, Elle admitted that Derrick was courting her, and two months later, they opened up about their "no label" relationship and their commitment to each other.

In August of the same year, Derrick revealed that they are now officially a couple and that he has already met Elle's family.

"Makiling" marked their return to GMA Afternoon Prime following "Return to Paradise."

The revenge drama series is now in its final week and airs at 4:00 p.m. after "Lilet Matias: Attorney-At-Law."
