Gary Valenciano thanks son Paolo for directing 'Pure Energy' concerts

Gary Valenciano is filled with love and gratitude for his eldest son Paolo, who served as the director of his "Pure Energy" concerts.

The OPM icon posted an Instagram photo of him sitting next to Paolo backstage, with Paolo's daughter Leia near them. Gary V said the photo was taken before the company call and the start of the first concert.

Gary V paid tribute to Paolo in his caption.

"I love you son…so very, very much," he said. "Thank you for all the outstanding, incredible, and spectacular work you've done."

"One more son… May 10… let's go!" Gary V added.

Gary V's Pure Energy concerts are in celebration of his 40th anniversary in the entertainment industry. The shows happened on April 26 and 27, where Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz were special guests on the first night.

Gary V added a third concert on May 10.

Gary's top hits include "'Di Bale Nalang," "'Di Na Natuto," "Shout For Joy," "Sana Maulit Muli," and "Take Me Out of the Dark," among many others.

Despite his various health challenges such as living with type-1 diabetes, undergoing bypass surgery, and surviving kidney cancer, Gary V remains Mr. Pure Energy. In fact, he even had his 100th concert at the Music Museum in October last year.

Gary V made a memorable appearance at the Eraserheads reunion concert in 2022, where he performed "Christmas Party" with them.
