Angelica Panganiban pays tribute to mom after second wedding with Gregg Homan
Angelica Panganiban wrote a touching message for her mom, Annabelle, for all the lessons she learned from her through the years.
On Instagram, the actress posted a photo of them together during her Siargao wedding to Gregg Homan.
Angelica started by saying, “Mama, alam ko kung gaano ka kasaya. Nauwi ako sa tamang tao.”
She then looked back on how her mother would remind her about being a good wife.
“Madalas tayo mag biruan, sinasabi mo na alagaan ko si gregg at UMAYOS AKO. Ang sagot ko naman, ‘maaa, dead na dead yan sakin,’” Angelica said.
“Pero ang totoo, hindi ako magiging sapat na mama ni Bean ngayon at may bahay ni Gregg kung hindi mo ko napalaki ng tama," she added.
Angelica credits all that she has now to Annabelle.
“Ikaw ang kayamanan ko na kaya kong ipagmalaki kahit kanino dahil ang lahat ng aral na napulot ko sayo ang ipapamana ko sa pamilya ko,” she said.
She added that although she is not a perfect daughter, she thanked her mom for the way she was raised as this made her stronger.
“Hindi ako perpekto at ideal na anak. Matigas ang ulo ko at madalas nilalaban ko ang mga gusto kong subukan. Pero hindi mo ko pinigilan o sadyang wala ka na lang nagawa. Salamat at hinayaan mo kong subukin ang lahat para sa ikakatapang ko. Mahal kita ma."
Angelica and Gregg got married a second time in Siargao last weekend.
Celebrities like Anne Curtis, Maxene Magalona, Glaiza De Castro, Kim Chiu, Bela Padilla, Liz Uy, and many more were spotted on the island.
Angelica and Gregg got engaged in 2022 when the actress was pregnant with their daughter Amila Sabine, or baby Bean. The couple first got married in the US on New Year’s Eve, on the special date of 123123.
