Rica Peralejo says Red Sternberg was her boyfriend for 1 day

Rica Peralejo just revealed that she got into a relationship with her former love team Red Sternberg, but for just one day.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the former actress told the story behind their short-lived romance.

Rica said she felt her family did not like Red for her at that time.

"Siguro kasi ang bata ko pa nga, maybe they felt—duda ko lang—they felt Red was already a bit mature for me tas ako sobrang bata," she said.

"So parang natakot ako. The next day binawi ko," she added, laughing.

Rica said Red of course got angry with her, and she also realized how silly she acted.

"As in ako din, 'Nakakahiya, ba't ka pa umoo binawi mo lang din?'" she said.

"Whenever I go back to that memory, sobrang nakakainis na kung ako 'yung lalaki parang, 'Ano ka ba, make up your mind,'" she said.

Now that they're older, Rica said she and Red can laugh at what happened. The two remain in touch in the group chat for the "T.G.I.S." cast.

Rica is happily married to Joseph Bonifacio, a pastor. They have two sons together. On social media, she often shares her jumping rope sessions and life advice.
