Vilma Santos spends ‘special day’ with granddaughter Rosie
Vilma Santos is clearly smitten with her granddaughter Rosie.
On Instagram, the best actress of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 shared a photo of her precious bonding time spent with Rosie.
In the photo, the loving grandma could be seen reading a children’s book while Rosie sat comfortably on Vilma's lap.
“A special day with my Baby Peanut,” the veteran actress said in the caption.
Vilma's son, Luis Manzano and his wife, Jessy Mendiola, welcomed Isabelle Rose in January last year.
They first got married in 2021 in an intimate civil ceremony held in Batangas, and in February 2024, tied the knot in a church wedding in Palawan.
In a "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" episode, Jessy said the second wedding is a fulfillment of a promise they made to each other.
The wedding also became an opportunity for their families to bond. Ate Vi even shared a beautiful snap featuring her ex and Luis' father, Edu Manzano, and her current husband, Senator Ralph Recto in one frame.
According to Jessy, she wants to have many kids with Luis.
“Gusto ko talaga ng maraming anak, Tito Boy," she said. "Kung kaya ko lang talaga nang sabay-sabay.”
