Karylle, Yael Yuzon renew vows on 10th year of marriage
Karylle and Yael Yuzon have renewed their vows on their 10th year of marriage!
On Instagram, Karylle's mother Zsazsa Padilla and Yael Yuzon's brother Yan Yuzon posted photos and videos from the ceremony held at the Church of Gesu in Ateneo de Manila University.
The couple also hosted a lunch at a Japanese restaurant in Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City.
"Congratulations, K and Yael! It was a beautiful ceremony for your renewal of vows!" Zsazsa said on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Yan said he was happy to be in town to attend the ceremony and wished them "deep faith, mutual support and most importantly, true friendship."
"Few things are more beautiful to see than friends who marry and become better friends to each other over the years. The both of you are so equal to the mission of placing the other's needs over your own to the point of selflessness, that each ends up getting almost all the nourishing care one needs directly from the other," he said about the couple.
"The two of you are my favorite family."
Yael's bandmates in Spongecola, together with their close friends and family, attended the ceremony.
In an episode of "It's Showtime" last month, Yael went down on one knee and asked Karylle to marry him again in a surprise proposal. Karylle happily said yes.
The couple have been married since March 2014.
