Felson Palad opens up about why he remained a virgin before marriage to Donita Rose

Donita Rose recently got candid in her recent interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” where she revealed that her husband Felson Palad remained a virgin until their marriage.

In fact, the actress and host said that marrying a virgin was something she prayed for.

Felson discussed this more in an Instagram post he titled, “The Virgin Husband.”

He said he saw comments and articles with mixed reactions, “with some expressing admiration, some concern, and some even ridiculing me through private messages.”

“However, both my wife and I firmly believe that she articulated her thoughts appropriately for the occasion. We view this as an opportunity to share the gospel and the goodness of God through our personal testimonies, especially targeting the younger generation,” Felson said.

“Yes, I was indeed a virgin when my wife and I tied the knot. While some might doubt my claim, I do not aim to prove my virginity; that would be irrelevant,” Felson added.

Felson said that he was already 38 when they got married, and admitted that he had his "share of youthful indiscretions."

"But one thing I upheld was the sanctity of the marital bond,” he said.

He also said that he and Donita have been talking to various churches about this topic and got approval from pastors to share this part of their love story.

“We firmly believe in educating the youth about the sacred and blessed nature of sex within the confines of marriage, recognizing it as a divine gift,” he said.

“I kindly request that if you find my wife’s statement discomforting, please refrain from criticism. She did not intend to embarrass me; rather, she spoke the truth and depicted our marriage and faith in God with integrity,” he added. “Our ultimate aspiration is for others to witness the faithfulness of God in our lives. God Bless Everyone.”

Donita was previously married to Eric Villarama in 2003 but they divorced in 2016.

At the height of the pandemic in 2020, Donita flew to the US, and landed a job as a corporate chef for a US-based Filipino supermarket chain.

In 2022, Donita confirmed her relationship with Felson and later announced their engagement.

Donita and Felson tied the knot in September that same year.
