Philmar Alipayo thanks Jaclyn Jose for loving and taking care of her grandchildren Lilo, Koa
Philmar Alipayo took to social media to remember Jaclyn Jose, the mother of his fiancée Andi Eigenmann, following the veteran actress' sudden death.
On Instagram Stories, Philmar reposted Jaclyn's photo uploaded by the Cannes Film Festival, where she won Best Actress for her 2016 film "Ma' Rosa."
"We will miss you, especially the children. Thank you for all the times you took care of us and for loving us. We love you forever," he wrote in Bisaya, as translated in English.
Philmar and Andi have two children, Lilo and Koa. Jaclyn was a doting grandmother to the little ones before her passing.
Andi also has a daughter with former boyfriend Jake Ejercito, Ellie. The actor paid his respects to Jaclyn during her wake.
Jaclyn, born Mary Jane Guck, died on March 2 at 60 years old. Andi revealed that she died of a heart attack.
Jaclyn's passing was first announced by her agency, PPL Entertainment. The Philippine National Police said her family was convinced that there was no foul play involved in her death.
Her other notable performances include starring and supporting roles in films such as "The Flor Contemplacion Story" and "Patay Na Si Hesus." She also starred in several GMA Network series, including "Marimar," "The Millionaire's Wife," and "D'Originals."
Celebrities and industry colleagues are mourning the award-winning actress and have paid tribute to her on social media.
Gabby Eigenmann said that they are still finalizing the inurnment schedule for Jaclyn.
