Leren Mae Bautista and Ricci Rivero admit their relationship started at an outreach feeding program

Leren Mae Baustista and Ricci Rivero appeared on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Friday, their first guesting together since admitting their relationship. 

The couple took a trip down memory lane, egged by King of Talk, who asked them how their relationship started.

"How did it start and how did you get to this point?" Tito Boy asked.

The Los Baños Municipal councilor began to answer, admitting things started at the outreach feeding program in Laguna.

"Nag-start talaga Tito Boy, during the feeding program. Yun talaga," Leren said.

“Dun ko siya nakita in person, nakausap din,” she added.

According to Leren, Ricci seemed like a total celebrity and a snob. “Sabi ko parang, ‘ah, okay. Artista nga talaga. Artista talaga siya.” 

Ricci's behavior made him intriguing to Leren, who admitted that "in a way,” it made her interested in Ricci.

“'Yong pumunta siya do’n to help our community and to have a very meaningful birthday celebration para dun sa mga bata and dun sa tao po sa Los Baños, it was really different kasi hindi naman po lahat ganun ‘yung ginagawa,” she said.

According to Ricci, neither of them planned the outreach program but that because he does outreach activities on a yearly basis, "baka may kilala [yung friend ko] na pwedeng mag-organize."

“Hindi talaga namin plan, ‘di kami magkakilala before that. Dun lang din kami nag-meet,” he continued, agreeing that their meeting was destined to happen.

From there, they started having “small talks,” with Ricci saying Leren was fun to be around with, and that they both enjoy each other's company. 

During the Fast Talk portion of the interivew, the basketball player admitted he made the first move, first said "I like you" and first said "I love you."

Before coming clean with their relationship, Leren and Ricci were initially marred with intrigues especially after they were spotted together in the same outreach program, while Ricci was navigating a messy breakup with actress Andrea Brillantes.

Many fans accused Leren of being the reason of the celebrity break up but the beauty queen and the basketball star both denied the allegations.

In October, Leren and Ricci finally publicized their relationship.
