Heart Evangelista welcomes birthday with sweet kiss with husband Chiz Escudero

It's Heart Evangelista's Day!

Ahead of her much-anticipated renewal of vows with Sen. Chiz Escudero, the Global Fashion Icon welcomed her 39th birthday in her jammies, surrounded by people close to her.

On Instagram Stories, Heart could be seen praying while her family did a countdown on her birthday. When the clock struck midnight, everybody greeted her with a happy birthday, and she went on to give her husband a sweet kiss.

Heart and Chiz are already on Balesin Island, where they are set to renew their vows. Among Heart's company during her birthday salubong includes fashion designer Michael Leyva.

Earlier this month, Heart confirmed vow renewal with Chiz, saying she now knows what marriage means.

"This time around, my heart is definitely complete," Heart said. "I was 30 when I got married, but it's different now."

"I know what marriage is now, so it's very meaningful for me," she added.

Heart earlier teased the vow renewal by posting a photo of a bouquet on Instagram.
