Melissa Gibbs shares moving dream about father Ronaldo Valdez
Melissa Gibbs-Pabalan had the most touching dream about her father, the late veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez.
On Instagram, Melissa shared a childhood photo showing Ronaldo carrying her.
“First time I dreamt of you last night papa,” Melissa said in her caption.
“Niyakap kita and sabi mo sa ‘kin, ‘alam ko mahal na mahal mo ‘ko,'" she added.
Melissa agreed to a comment that said that dreaming about loved ones brings happiness.
“Super,” she said.
The Quezon City Police Department announced that Ronaldo passed away on December 17. He was 76.
Ronaldo’s son, Janno Gibbs, confirmed his passing in a statement and requested privacy for their family.
Janno also urged the police personnel involved in the leak of a video showing his father’s body to issue a public apology and also called out certain vloggers who made misleading posts about Ronaldo’s passing.
In tributes to his Ronaldo, Janno called him “the sweetest dad ever” and posted a touching cover of “Moon River.”
The Gibbs family plans to scatter some of Ronaldo’s ashes in Baguio City, his favorite place.
