Carmina Villarroel on son Mavy Legaspi's next relationship: 'Just take your time'

Carmina Villarroel has shared her two cents on her son Mavy Legaspi's future love life.

In Ogie Diaz's latest vlog titled "Sa nanakit sa anak ni Carmina Villarroel…," Carmina said she had advised Mavy to focus on himself first before jumping into another relationship.

The "Abot Kamay Na Pangarap" actress related to the vlog how she told Mavy to “Just take your time. Enjoy your life, especially ngayon na ang daming trabaho, ang dami mong blessings, so mag-focus ka muna diyan.”

“Actually, hindi ko na kailangan sabihin,” she added. “Nakikita ko talaga ine-enjoy niya 'yung buhay niya ngayon.”

[Just take your time. Enjoy your life, especially now that you have a lot of opportunities at work. You have so much blessings, so focus on that first.]

Mavy is a known admirer and masungid na manliligaw of Kyline Alcantara, a fellow Sparkle artist and his ka-love team. While they have constantly been going on dates and trips together, with Kyline fostering healthy relationships with Carmina and Zoren, the two have not gone official.

Meanwhile Ogie asked Carmina about being tagged as a "pakielamera" in her children's love life and whereabouts.

“Hindi ako nakikialam, inaalam ko, because we are very open,” she said.

[I don't probe. I just make sure I know, because we are very open.]

“I really don't want to use pakialamera or nakikialam kami, hindi talaga eh,” she added. “We’re just present, very present kami sa buhay ng mga anak ko.”

[I really don't want to be called nosy because I really am not. We're just present, we are very present in the lives of our children.]

Carmina and Zoren Legaspi's twins, Mavy and Cassy, celebrated their 23rd birthday earlier this month.

Previously, the twins received some reminders from their parents about friends and rumors.

In her message, Carmina said, "People can destroy your image, damage your personality, create rumors about you, but they can never take away your good deeds."

Carmina and Zoren celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in 2022.
