Mark Hamill meets Natalie Portman: 'I have finally met my 'mother''

Luke Skywalker and Padme Amidala have finally met in real life!

"Star Wars" stars Mark Hamill and Natalie Portman crossed paths at the recently concluded Golden Globe Awards.

On Instagram, Hamill shared their photo and said, "Now I have finally met my 'mother,' thanks to the @goldenglobes."

Fans left comments referencing Darth Vader, such as, "Well that went a lot better then when you met your father," and "Luke, she is your mother."

Hamill played Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, an iconic role he reprised in recent movies.

Portman played Luke's mother Padme Amidala in the prequel trilogy.
