Kristoffer Martin says daughter Prè wants to enter showbiz

Kristoffer Martin said that his daughter, Prè, has shown interest in entering the showbiz industry.

In an interview with GMA News Online, the Sparkle star was all smiles as he talked about his daughter with AC Banzon.

“Gusto niya," he said. "Kasi every time na pinapanood niya ako sa TV, ‘Daddy, I want to act also.’ Sabi ko, ‘Anak, decide ka muna, enjoy mo muna ‘yung pagkabata mo.’ ‘Yun laging nire-remind sa kaniya kasi ‘di naman ako ‘yung dad na ‘Hindi, ‘di ka puwedeng mag-showbiz, ‘di ka puwede, ito ‘yung kailangan mong gawin.’”

He added that he and AC allow the little girl to do things that she likes.

“Kasi parang kami naman ni AC, hayaan muna natin siya kung anong gusto niyang gawin. So minsan, talagang pagka ano, pinapaarte siya ng mom niya sa’min nalang, talagang umaarte talaga siya. Talagang gusto niya kumakanta, sumasayaw. Gusto niya nagpe-perform,” he said.

Kristoffer also expressed delight over his daughter taking after her mother.

“Happy ako na nakukuha niya ‘yung traits ng mommy niya na talagang ano siya eh, si AC kasi ano siya, may paninindigan. Kung anong gusto niya, gagawin niya as long as alam niyang tama with the guidance of her mom. Ganun si Prè,” he said.

“Sobrang hindi siya basta-basta napapatumba, hindi siya ‘yung sobrang kulit na bata, masunurin, alam niya na anak siya, alam niya kung pa’no rumespeto sa mga mas nakakatanda sa kaniya. Tsa natutuwa ako kay Prè, marunong siyang sumunod talaga,” he added.

Kristoffer revealed that he was a father to a four-year-old girl in 2021.

In February 2022, Kristoffer and AC tied the knot in Capas, Tarlac.

Kristoffer is set to star in “Makiling” with Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio. He will play the role of a bully named Seb.
