Tippy Dos Santos honors mom on first birthday since her death
Tippy Dos Santos honored her mother on her first birthday since her tragic death.
On Instagram, Tippy shared a photo set of her family’s travels around the world through the years. The photos feature her parents, John and Happy, and her sister Jackie.
The singer and lawyer penned a letter to her mom in the caption.
“Happy birthday, Mom. I will miss your beautiful smile every single day,” Tippy wrote.
She added that Happy is the one who reminds them to take photos “of every special moment in our lives.”
“I will always be grateful for these photos we have as a family,” Tippy said.
"I miss you so much already. I love you,” she added.
John and Happy were involved in a vehicular accident when they arrived in South Korea for vacation.
John is recovering from his injuries, whereas Happy was in a coma in the intensive care unit (ICU) before her passing.
Tippy said in an Instagram post, “There are really no words to express the devastation and heartbreak the loss of my mom has caused us.”
She added that their family is "still trying to process the tragedy that has taken mama from us.”
