Celebrating kindness all year round
Having the annual Christmas party is the epitome of celebration for many families and organizations, where people come together outside of their usual work days or see relatives once a year to exchange gifts and greetings. It's definitely a celebration that many Filipino children and families look forward to.
This is why, in a season that is characterized by generosity and kindness, one would want to share these happy moments with others who may not be fortunate enough to have these festivities.
McDonald's with its charity of Choice, Ronald McDonald House Charities, partners once again with Coca-Cola to hold Christmas celebrations for different communities they serve to share the light and kindness to Filipino families. There are fun games, exciting performances, and of course, the happiest meals to bring the biggest smiles. Take a look at a McDonald’s Share The Light, Share The Kindness event held in Cebu last December 19, 2023:
For over 25 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities has been operating in the Philippines to uplift the lives of Filipino families. This year, the Share The Light, Share The Kindness events were held in different cities to help bring some Christmas cheer to communities in need.
McDonald’s spreads kindness not only by holding parties during the holiday season but also through all-year round activities that support proper education and providing food and shelter to communities in need. Many FIlipinos benefit from the RMHC initiatives (Bahay Bulilit, Kindness Kitchen, and Read to Learn) that continues to bring happiness and create lasting positive change even beyond the holiday season.
