Luis Manzano on being a father: 'Kahit anong pagod mo sa trabaho, it's worth it'

Luis Manzano’s world changed when he became a husband to Jessy Mendiola and father to Rosie or Baby Peanut.

On Barbie Forteza’s interview vlog series “Coffee Talk,” the host and actor gushed over his mag-ina.

Luis said that being a father and husband gave him a new purpose.

“’Yung uwing uwi ka dahil gusto mo makita ‘yung baby mo, diba totoo po ‘yun,” he said.

“And the smallest things na gawin, as if parang nagiiba ‘yung mundo mo masabi lang niya ‘yung papa, baba or yung smile sa ‘yo," he added.

For Luis, the most important thing is his family's happiness.

“Kahit anong pagod mo sa trabaho, ma-re-realize mo na it’s worth it. ‘Yung uuwi kang masaya si misis, masaya si Peanut—‘yung parang time slows down pagdating sa pamilya mo,” he said.

Luis and Jessy got married in 2021. Jessy announced the birth of Isabella Rose, or Rosie last January. The mother and daughter had a joint birthday celebration this December.
