Taylor Swift on public relationship with Travis Kelce: 'We're just proud of each other'
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been all over the headlines since the public caught wind of their relationship — notably, during a Kansas City Chiefs game.
In an interview with TIME, which declared her as their 2023 Person of the Year, Taylor said that she and the NFL star were already a couple by the time she attended the match.
"We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other," she said. "By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
Taylor added, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
The American superstar has attended several of Travis' games, and even openly kissed him after her show in at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Previously, Taylor was in a six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn and had been linked to The 1975 vocalist, Matt Healy.
Currently, Taylor is kicking off the Latin American leg of The Eras Tour and is scheduled to tour Europe and Asia next year. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
